The Artists' Guild of Anna Maria Island is pleased to have Andrew Schmidt, a Braden River High School Commercial Art III art student, as our March student of the month. His art teacher is Bill Ferrell. Andrew plans to continue his art interest in Graphic Illustration or possibly in a related field.
Andrew's artwork "Homage to The Lord of the Rings" is mixed media. He also recently had his design for a Welcome Billboard selected to be placed at the entrance to Palmetto.

February Demo
Basket weaver Kay Johnson will be demonstrating her skills in the gallery February 17, from 1 to 2:30pm. Kay is a talented craftsman and was the gallery featured artist for the month of December.
