Artists' Guild of Anna Maria Island
News from Co-President Midge Pippel January has been a very busy and successful month for the Guild. We are delighted that we have so many new members joining our organization. We are especially proud of the participation in our 3rd Annual Art Show, approximately 400 people attend the reception!

We had 110 pieces of art on display and gave out $875 in prizes and earned $290 from the raffle basket donated by Keetons.

The Guild Board met for a retreat on January 25th to work on restructuring the Guild operation while Joan and I remain as temporary presidents. We worked on the pilot program from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM and broke only for a short lunch break. It was a very productive day and we came up with 5 major teams who will take over the leadership of the Guild as soon as March.

We will explain more about the "Team" format at our February 6th meeting at 1:00 PM at the Episcopal Church. We also worked out a schedule designating which team would be responsible for our monthly general meetings through February 2013. You can be very proud of the members who give so much of their time and talents for the good of the Guild. They are a great group!

Pictured below are those members who worked so hard at the retreat.
