LAW1: Painting Landscapes from Photos

Service Description

Join award-winning artist LuAnn Widergren for a two-part class on working with photographs to make your paintings better. This class has periodic, short demonstrations followed by students applying these tips to their own paintings from their own photographs. Class time will mostly be spent as studio time with LuAnn helping students individually as they work. She finds that allowing students to problem solve using their own paintings gives students a deeper understanding as well as a greater chance to grow as artists. This class is appropriate for all levels and all 2-D Mediums will benefit. While LuAnn will be demonstrating in oils, she also has experience teaching watercolor, acrylics, graphite and charcoal. Materials Required: Bring your painting and drawing materials. Due to the variety of materials, there will not be any on hand. Please bring a few photos printed out or easy to see you your tech devices. This is easier for LuAnn to see your reference materials. She will also have printed photos to work form if you prefer.
