Service Description

DESCRIPTION OF CLASS: 2 Hour drawing workshop with graphite pencils is simple, portable, and elegant. All you need are pencils, paper, erasers, and a desire to enhance your drawing skills. In this demonstration, you will explore basic techniques for rendering a subject realistically. Drawings can become studies for other media or finished works in themselves. Time will be split between viewing the instructor demonstration and participating in a practicum with sample materials provided by instructor. Should participants wish to purchase their own - Strathmore Bristol 500 series drawing paper 2 ply plate (smooth texture) is preferred - 15 sheets 11 x 14, available on Amazon or Dick Blick for $26, Bristol 500 also comes in vellum (matte texture).
