Copyright and the Artist – As the Paint Dries
with Anne Dalton, Esquire - January 5, 2015
Learn about basic copyright law and its everyday application to the visual artist with Attorney Anne Dalton on Monday, January 5, 2015--Social hour 6:30 p.m., program 7 p.m. in Lowe Hall, Church of the Annunciation, 45th St. and 2nd Ave., Holmes Beach (4408 West Gulf Drive). This event is free and open to the public.
With over 37 years of experience as an attorney and legal counselor to businesses and individuals in all stages of business and creative development, Attorney Dalton’s practice also includes legal assistance to photographers, visual artists, videographers, writers and other creative artists, art co-ops, foundations and museums, according to her website.
She was Senior Attorney for Radio City Music Hall in New York City and Legal and Business Affairs Counsel for the American Broadcasting Company (ABC) Network News Division and ABC NewsMagazine “20/20?.
The recipient of an Outstanding Individual Achievement Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and a CLIO Award for her services to the American Broadcasting Company, Anne holds an AV Preeminent® Rating from Martindale-Hubbell®, the highest professional peer review rating possible for ethical standards, legal knowledge, analytical capabilities, judgment, legal experience and communication ability.

The Artists' Guild of Anna Maria Island presents "Thru Artist's Eyes"
The Artists' Guild of Anna Maria Island presents "Thru Artist's Eyes", an open, all media juried art show at The Studio at Gulf and
Pine on Anna Maria Island. There will be prizes awarded from $500 for Best of Show to $25 for Honorable Mention (4).
Receiving is January 7 from 10am to 1pm, and pick up is the 28th at the Studio. Entry fees are $15 for members, $25 for nonmembers.
The show is January 8 through January 27 and there will be an opening reception Friday, January 16, 5:30 to 7:30pm.
Island Arts and Culture Community donated
to Save our Community Center - June 24th, 2014
Presentation of checks from Ed Chiles and Food and Wine on Pine, 2014 to the island non-profits:
AMICCO, AMICC, Artists' Guild, Rotary, Cultural Connections and the Historical Society
Food and Wine on Pine donates a portion of the proceeds from the event to island non-profits. This year the
non-profits that benefited from the generosity of the Chiles Group decided to help one of their
own and donate all of those checks to the Anna Maria Island Community Center. Pictured above are:
