Cortez Fish Market - February 14th and 15th

AGAMI will be in partnership with AP Bell and The Florida Institute for Saltwater Heritage, Inc. (FISH) for the Cortez Commercial Fishing Festival Photo Contest Longline Show!  The theme this year is “From Boat to Market.”  The Fish Festival runs on Saturday, February 14 and Sunday, February 15, 2026.  10am – 6pm.

The festival celebrates the local area’s fishing heritage with proceeds benefiting the FISH mission and preserve.  AGAMI is proud to help support our local community.  The festival draws 10,000 – 13,000 people a year.

If you have questions about this special show, please email artistsguildannamariaisland@gmail.com.  We look forward to working with you and sharing your view of Cortez Village and its commercial fishing industry with festival visitors.

aboutus

The Artists' Guild of Anna Maria Island (AGAMI) is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit art organization founded in 1989 by the late Genevieve Novicky Alban. Genevieve envisioned a space where local artists could come together to collaborate, support one another, and enrich the community through art.

Since its inception, AGAMI has been a hub for creativity and connection. Our Guild members collectively showcase and sell their work in our nonprofit gallery, organize engaging exhibits, host classes, and serve as ambassadors for the arts throughout the greater Sarasota/Bradenton area, and beyond.

Together, we continue to uphold Genevieve's legacy, fostering a vibrant art community and inspiring creativity in all who join us.
