Our Goal

 

"to promote and support creative processes by bringing together all Artists - visual and performing and writers – to share experiences, expertise and work together to develop and promote the artistic community. "

Our all-volunteer membership—approximately 150 artists and supporters of the arts—arrange exhibits, shows, online classes, and other activities to further local art in the community.  We support our schools through art supply donations, demo classes and student scholarships.  Our art gallery, the Guild’s largest program, has more than 50 local displaying artists.  This year, members of the Artist's Guild of Anna Maria Island have produced and donated original works of art in a variety of mediums on 10 X 10 wooden cradleboard ready to hang or wrap as Christmas gifts, each for a flat rate of $60 [plus sales tax].   The artists donated their work to raise money to support the mission of the Artists Guild and 100% of the purchase price will go to the AGAMI community projects.
