We are the AGAMI ... the Artists’ Guild of Anna Maria Island

HERE'S WHAT DO WE DO...

Champion of the arts, our 150-all-volunteer, 501(c)(3), nonprofit Artists’ Guild continually promotes the arts.
Volunteering for community events, giving classes and workshops; funding bus trips to the Ringling Museum for the local elementary school students; providing hands-on art demonstrations to the local school children; hosting a high school student’s artwork monthly in our gallery; awarding an annual one-thousand dollar scholarship to a local high school senior who will be majoring in the arts--visual or performing; donating hundreds of dollars and/or art supplies annually to at-risk school art programs; collaborating with other community art groups and art enthusiasts to host island art walks; hosting monthly members meetings with educational programs and speakers that are open to the public; running a gallery with over 1,000 pieces of local art with one of our local art ambassadors always on site; host monthly gallery receptions with featured artists; host a weekly Wednesday plein air painting group-free and open to all; host a Monday Morning Painters group, free and open to all; participate in public art projects; host an annual juried, with monetary awards, fine-art show; Collaborate with local businesses for special events such as book signings by AGAMI authors and art demonstrations; Stream on social media the importance of the arts--how it inspires, builds communities, increases the economy, heals, brings joy and peace-and supports local nonprofits like our own Artists’ Guild of Anna Maria Island.
Meet new friends, learn about art techniques and applications; travel on art outings; be part of the coolest art guild in town; and the best part, we create and enjoy life with those around us.
Art is not just on stage, on canvas, on paper or in song . . . it is in your heart.
