Hurricanes Helene and Milton
Hurricane Helene's storm surge pushed through Holmes Beach and significantly destroyed our Artists Guild of Anna Maria Island on September 26, 2024.  Then on October 6, we sustained Category 3 Hurricane winds from Milton.  Here are the results.

September 29, 2024 Initial Inspections once permitted back on Island.  No electric or air conditioning for many days.  It was super hot and smelly in the Gallery.   Days later, Artists were permitted to come back on the Island to pick up their damaged artwork.

Clean out begins October 2, 2024 Clean out begins.  Electricity restored, air conditioning functioning again.
