Featured Artist profile.
LuAnn Widergren works in oil, most often painting outdoors or using outdoor studies in the studio. She has over 35 years of teaching experience with an MS in art education and Ed.S. She competes in some of the biggest plein air events, such as Easton Plein Air, and has been exhibited in the Oil Painters of America National and Regional Exhibitions and American Impressionist Society Exhibitions. She has numerous awards and honors, with her work featured in PleinAir Magazine. She and her husband, Jerry, have a home on the island, so plenty of her favorite things to paint in the area!
