Susanna Spann is an internationally recognized watercolor artist renowned for her mastery with textures, color combinations, and the interaction of light especially within glass and organic forms. Residing in Bradenton, she is a distinguished member of several prestigious art organizations, including the American Watercolor Society (AWS), National Watercolor Society (NWS), and Florida Watercolor Society (FWS). Susanna's work has been featured in major art publications such as The Artist’s Magazine and the Splash watercolor series. For many years, she taught at the Ringling College of Art and Design and has also authored the instructional book "Painting Crystal and Flowers in Watercolor" She continues to exhibit her work at local events and has received numerous awards.
Susanna's work will be on display in the window of the AGAMI Gallery at 5414 Marina Drive, Holmes Beach, throughout April. The artist's reception will take place on Friday, April 10th, from 5 to 7:30 during the monthly Night Market. Light refreshments will be served. The event includes a "Paint Around," where member artists complete a painting, each adding to the piece as it's passed around. A raffle will be held for the painting.
