Rick moved from Boston to Bradenton in 2020 and works out of his home studio. He is an avid landscape painter and outdoor enthusiast. His paintings celebrate a wide variety of landscape themes, focusing on capturing the effects of light and color of the landscape, birds, and figures. He pays special attention to the atmospheric mood of the subject in the attempt to translate a moment of time and place for the viewer.
